Did you know facts about libraries?
The media center services are offered to all students and staff. Students and staff are
encouraged to utilize the facilities and resources of the media center.
Hours of Service:
The media center is open daily during school each
day. In addition, it is also open after school Monday and Wednesday until 3:15 pm.
Transportation after school is provided.
Attendance:
As students at Delsea High School, it is a privilege to use the media
center. Media center attendance is made possible by several different means:
- Individual - During any classroom period, your teacher may allow you to
use the media center by issuing a media center pass during the classroom period. After
receiving the pass students should come directly to the media center. Students should
report to the circulation desk to sign in and have their passes verified by the media
specialist. When signing the media center log book, students must neatly print their full
name, grade, date, and the period. Reminder: Students must
have a pass! In addition, passes are issued from the academic teacher and not by studyhall
teachers.
- Teacher / Classroom - Teachers are encouraged to sign in their classes
to use the media center as a group.
- NOTE: The log book is the official
record of attendance! Failure to sign in could result in administrative detention or other
disciplinary action.
Circulation Procedures:
The media center is now available online with the use of the
Follett Destiny. Patrons utilize the Delsea
Regional High School Media Center Catalog to locate and retrieve media housed in the
media center.
