School Library Month and National Library Week - April 2010

Franklin Township Public Library, Franklin Township school libraries and Delsea Regional school libraries hosted National Library Week celebration.  Invited were federal, state and local legislators, public library board members, school administrators and school board members.  Attending were legislative aides for Senator Lautenberg and NJ State Senator, Fred Madden (District 4) as well as District 4 NJ Assemblyman Domenick DiCicco.  School board members in attendance were Delsea board members Bill DiMateo and Ruth Short.  Hosted by the HS English Club, the event included a Powerpoint presentation and the premiere of the student movie, "The Day the Library Died."      Powerpoint highlighted each library and the various collaborative activities of the libraries.  Celebration of Library Handout      Successful School/Public Library Cooperation Brochure   Day the Library Died Movie   Photo 1  Photo 2  Photo 3  Photo 4
