Delsea HS Celebrates Reading on Dr. Seuss' Birthday

2nd and 3rd graders visited from Main
Road and Janvier School on March 2

2nd & 3rd graders from Aura School and 3rd graders
from Reutter School visited on March 9

Storybook characters: the Cat
in the Hat, Cinderella,
Belle, Jasmine,
Juliet,
and Snow White visited with students
-
9th graders from Ms. Williams'
and Mr. DuBois' class read their books that they had written to the
students. Books were written as part of a Learn and Serve Project.
Books will be displayed in the Franklin Township Public Library.

Guest readers from the Franklin
Township Police Department shared books.

NJ State Senator John Matheussen and Superintendent
John Borelli share a moment with the Cat in the Hat.

9th graders assisted elementary students with hat-making.

Elementary students enjoyed autograph
sessions.

Book Drive March 2001 Acitivity
-
The Media Center and the Delsea
Student Government collected over 600 used children's books to donate to
local schools, public library, pre-schools and Ronald McDonald House.
In addition, students from Janvier Elementary school donated over 100 books.
