Club Purpose:
| To develop a greater awareness of ecological relationships | |
| To foster a sense of Environmental Stewardship in young people | |
| To create a bridge between Delsea Regional High School students and the community of Gloucester County through environmental stewardship projects and Habitat Building Workshops |
Club Projects:
| Recycling: Coordinate and facilitate a recycling program in the high school | |
| Adopt-a-Highway: Continuation of highway trash pick-up along Fries Mill Road in Franklinville, NJ | |
| Habitat Butterfly Garden: Planting of a 25,000 sq ft courtyard habitat garden in conjunction with Gloucester County community members and Triple Oaks Nursery |
Club Trips and Special Activities:
| Volunteer Day (Fall 2001): Trash clean-up of Scotland Run Park | |
| Field Trip to Camden (Spring 2002): Trip to state Aquarium | |
| Recycle Your Junk (October 10, 2002): Giant yard sale to raise money for the club and the keep junk out of land fills | |
| Earth Day (April 30, 2003): Dress down for teachers and tee-shirts for students | |
| Field Trip to Longwood Gardens (Spring 2003): Trip to see some beautiful gardens |
